milwaukee can you handle this?

like the party was going to stop at the show.
well, it did take a short break, but only because when we got back to the hotel, we very nicely asked the lady at the desk where the nearest thursday night 4am bar was, and she rudely replied that the only thing that would be open would be dunkin donuts.  seriously lady?  live a little.

what town doesnt have a nice 4am bar to party at on a thursday night?  i figured staying at the hilton, these people would know how to party.  should you ever want to learn, let me know i will back and rock your faces off.  I suppose it was for the best that we got some beauty sleep anyway because
1.  its not easy looking this good all the time, and
2. we had long before had to write our hotel room number on my hand so we would be sure to find our way back.

now thats how you party, milwaukee.

The next morning we awoke to crave a little hair from the dog who bit us.  (aka  more booze) and again asked the hotel person where a little brunch could be found.  The guy rather rudely told us that you couldnt really find a champagne brunch on a friday morning.  (really hilton? REALLY?
i hadnt even asked for champagne, but now you put the thought in my head!  we found a little diner down the street and settled for a little breakfast.  having been denied our champagne, we settled for the next best thing.  the champagne of beers!!  thats right, we went on the miller factory tour!  did you know that 40% of the beer there is shipped to chicago?  thats right it is!!  The best part of the tour was all the free beer we got to enjoy at the end!

After that we really got our culture on and took in the milwaukee art museum.  There were some really nice super-mod installations involving light and
sound, and of course we had to stop and admire the andy warhol peices.  andy warhol is gingerfoxxx's fav artist because his work is just so deep and thought-provoking.  it is really meant to be analyzed on so many levels, and it is just so obvious that he was one of the few people who really was just in it for the art.  natch.

We even stayed to watch the wings on the museum close.
after that, we stopped for a quick snack at an irish pub, only to discover that in the bathroom, some one had wrote down the site address for gingerfoxxx's blog!  who would have done that?  just another adoring fan i suppose.  We ended the day by stopping in the cutest little town called loves park, and having some beers at a local biker bar.  The bar just loved our fabulous selves, and the bartender wanted to know where two gingerfab girls like us came from, and how we ended up at rockys.  The beer was ice cold, the townies
were friendly, and we even saw a bar fight out back!  If you ever find yourself in Loves Park, IL, make sure you stop in at rocky's for a beer, and tell them gingerfoxxx sent you!
