ginger lover of the week

this week the love comes from:

the guardian angels!



i was taking a late train home the other evening, and as i was waiting at the clark and lake stop, when i looked out the window to see a very good looking irish guy standing but not getting on the train. i was attracted to his white and red tshirt that said "guardian angels" and assumed that this guy must have some amazing luck with the salvation army t-shirt bin. *(at this point i would just like to point out that i am not in fact an idiot, i was deceived by the fact that this guy was my age, and the guardian angels dont have a huge presence on the north and west sides.)* come to find out as i observe a little closer, he actually is a real guardian angel, with the cute little hat, handcuffs and everything! this was incredibly exciting for multiple reasons. 1. its nice to have a little back-up out there. i was almost assaulted just last week! 2. the city's crime has been worse then ever this year, its completely out of control, so its nice to see people stepping up. 3. vigilante's are hot. there is no skirting around that issue.

so thank you cute guardian angel at the clark and lake stop, thanks for looking so tough, making sure i get home safe, and cleaning up these mean streets.

***i would also like to point out that chicago really is becoming gotham city. we are kept safe by sexy vigilantes, and just a day ago a woman was mugged by someone throwing acid in their face. how joker-esque! get me harvey dent on the phone, stat!
